#89 - Anna Marie Jeitani

There’s overkill, and then there’s overkill.

Anna Marie Jeitani stabbed her husband, Toni, 17 times. She also did it in front of their toddler (there were 6 kids total). Finally, she did it 3 times in view of the first responders 

All of this went down in San Antonio, TX. Really couldn’t find out too much on these two other than that he was Lebanese and she was a Latina (maiden name Salinas).

Anna Marie claimed years of abuse, multiple affairs, and that she attacked Toni in self-defense. That said, she did plead guilty, and was given a sentence of 25 years (with a possibility of parole after 12). She later claimed that she was railroaded into the plea, but her request for an appeal was denied.

The victim

I’m surprised this one didn’t get any more press. She’s beautiful, he’s movie-star handsome, and the overkill makes for great press. That said, there is tons of discussion on Facebook, a lot of it between friends & family:

•  “The police LIES [sic].”
• “He probably deserved it.”
